Terms of Service

Effective date: October 10, 2026

These terms govern your use of Product Pillars, including productpillars.com, the Product Pillars editor, our MCP server and our HTTP API (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Robot Heart Studios ("Product Pillars", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you can bind it to these terms, and "you" includes that organization.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
  • Give us accurate information, and keep your password, API keys and connected AI clients secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by agents you connect.
  • Tell us right away at jeremy@jeremybelcher.net if you think someone has accessed your account or a key without permission.
  • Don't create accounts by automated means, and don't share one account between several people.

2. Your content

  • You own your diagrams. Diagrams, projects and anything else you or your agents put into the Service ("your content") stay yours.
  • The license you give us. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display and transmit your content only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service, and to do what you ask, such as showing it to collaborators you invite, serving it through share links you create, and sending it to AI clients you connect. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups that are removed on their normal schedule.
  • No AI training. We don't use your content to train AI models.
  • Your responsibility. You confirm that you have the rights needed to put your content into the Service, and that it doesn't break the law or these terms.
  • Sensitive data. The Service is not designed for sensitive information such as health records, payment card numbers, government identification numbers or passwords. Please don't put it in your diagrams.

3. AI agents

  • You can connect AI clients and agents to the Service through our MCP server, our API or a sign-in flow. A connected agent acts on your behalf, with the same access your account has.
  • You are responsible for what your agents do, including diagrams they create, edit, share or delete, as if you had done it yourself. Review their work.
  • Agents and AI clients are provided by third parties under their own terms. We're not responsible for their output, their availability or how they handle content they receive from the Service.
  • Changes made by agents are attributed to them so the people you work with can see who changed what.

4. Collaboration and sharing

  • People you invite to a diagram or project get the access you give them, and you can change or remove it at any time.
  • A share link lets anyone who has it view the diagram without an account. You are responsible for who you send share links to and where you post them. Revoking a link stops it working, but we can't recall copies people already made.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

  • break the law, or infringe or violate anyone else's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
  • upload malware, or content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or deceptive;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or get around its security, limits or access controls;
  • access the Service by automated means other than our documented MCP server and API, or use them in a way that places an unreasonable load on the Service;
  • copy, resell or provide access to the Service to others as a standalone product without our written permission; or
  • build a competing product using the Service or its documentation, beyond what our published guides allow.

6. Plans, limits and fees

  • The Service has a free plan with usage limits, currently 5 diagrams per account. We may change the limits of the free plan; we'll tell you before a change affects diagrams you already have.
  • We may offer paid plans or features. Prices, billing terms and any refund policy will be shown before you buy, and will form part of these terms.

7. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

8. Our rights

The Service, including its software, design, documentation and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. Subject to these terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. Nothing in these terms gives you any right to our trademarks or logos.

9. Third-party services

The Service works with services we don't control, such as Google sign-in and the AI clients you connect. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them.

10. Changes to the Service

The Service is evolving. We may add, change or remove features at any time. When we make a change that breaks how agents or scripts use the MCP server or API, we'll try to give notice in advance, for example in our changelog.

11. Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing jeremy@jeremybelcher.net.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use creates a risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or if we stop offering the Service. Where we reasonably can, we'll give you notice and a chance to export your diagrams first.
  • Sections 2 (the parts about your responsibility), 3, 7, 8 and 12 through 16 survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL NEVER BE LOST. KEEP YOUR OWN COPIES OF DIAGRAMS THAT MATTER, FOR EXAMPLE BY EXPORTING THEM AS MARKDOWN.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, PRODUCT PILLARS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND 100 US DOLLARS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DON'T ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Product Pillars against claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, actions taken by agents you connect, or your breach of these terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state courts located in Kings County, New York, or the federal courts for the Eastern District of New York, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

16. General

  • Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you by email or in the Service before a material change takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.
  • Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • Severability and waiver. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You can't transfer these terms without our consent. We can transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Copyright complaints. If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to Robot Heart Studios, 240 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11249, jeremy@jeremybelcher.net.
